Jeffrey Marchant

Angela is an enthusiastic wife and mother who enjoys learning. She has over 15 years of experience in teaching young children, teens, and adults. Her experience is in teaching Social Studies, mentoring teachers, guiding projects such as the United Nations simulation held by the British School in her hometown Cali Colombia, presenting lectures, and advising schools in Colombia. She worked for CMS as a Spanish Lab Teacher Assistant for the 2018-2019 school year and as a Spanish Instructor at the Language Academic of Carolinas in 2018. She still tutors at Lake Norman Language Academic.

Angela’s qualifications include a diploma in teaching and pedagogy studies from San Buenaventura University in Cali, Colombia; as well as a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. She has a certification in Human Resource Management from the University of Santiago de Cali, a certification in Teaching English as a Second Language (TEFL) from International Student Services Org. ISSO, and a Technician in Industrial Engineering from Centro de Estudios Profesionales College Cali, Colombia. Currently, she is studying the Masters of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages M.A. TESOL at Greensboro College, N.C.
