Phoenix Montessori Academy Band Program
At Phoenix Montessori Academy, we believe music is a powerful pathway for creativity, discipline, and self-expression. Our new Band Program invites students in Upper Elementary and Middle School to explore the world of instrumental music in a collaborative, engaging environment.
A Foundation in Music
Students in the Band Program are introduced to the fundamentals of musicianship while developing confidence and teamwork. Through guided instruction and ensemble practice, students learn to read music, understand rhythm, and perform together as a cohesive group.
Instrument Opportunities
Our program includes instruction and hands-on experience in:
- Brass (trumpet, trombone)
- Woodwinds (flute, clarinet, saxophone)
- Percussion (drums)
Students will have the opportunity to discover the instrument that best matches their interests and strengths.
Performance & Growth
Band students will participate in group rehearsals and have opportunities to perform, building both musical ability and stage confidence. The program emphasizes steady progress, personal responsibility, and the joy of making music together.
Optional Private Lessons
To further support individual growth, private lessons are available for purchase. These one-on-one sessions provide personalized instruction tailored to each student’s pace and goals, helping them refine technique and advance more quickly.
